DNC Videotaping GOP Candidates

The Democratic National Committee (DNC) is videotaping Republican presidential candidates.

This past Sunday, at a Mitt Romney event, we met a DNC staffer who admitted that their job is to videotape Republican candidates who visit New Hampshire. The staffer told us that they are based out of the New Hampshire Democratic Party headquarters, in Concord.

New Hampshire Democratic Party spokeswoman Pia Carouse said "It's just a part of the process."

The New Hampshire Republican Party had no official comment for this story.

Videotaping candidates is not unusual, in fact we've been told that the RNC videotapes Democratic candidates in the Granite State.

Another interesting tidbit is we've seen volunteers from presidential campaigns videotaping their rivals. Three weeks we spotted a Romney supporter videotaping Rudy Giuliani and The Concord Monitor reported two weeks ago that Obama volunteers were caught videotaping Hillary Clinton events.
