Medical Marijuana Group To Offer GOP Candidates $10,000

From The Medical Marijuana Policy Project:

On Monday, Dec. 3, the Marijuana Policy Project and two New Hampshire patients will challenge presidential candidates Rudy Giuliani, John McCain and Mitt Romney to back up their statements regarding medical marijuana with scientific evidence. The challenge will be announced at a Manchester press conference featuring a mobile billboard with images of the three candidates bearing Pinocchio noses. The exact time and location of the news conference will be announced Monday morning.

In response to questions asked by medical marijuana patients and supporters, Giuliani, McCain and Romney have all claimed that medical marijuana is either not needed or "too dangerous" for medical use. The MPP Medical Marijuana PAC will offer the maximum $10,000 contribution ($5,000 for the primary campaign, $5,000 for the general election) to any of the candidates who can prove that their claims are true.
