New Hampshire Democratic State Senator Jackie Cilley announced today that she has endorsed Barack Obama. Cilley was elected in 2006 and represents Barrington, Rochester and Somersworth.
According to an Obama press release Senator Cilley said:
"New Hampshire voters don't want to hear partisan talking points—they want real solutions. Barack Obama is striking a chord with folks here because his approach is a welcome departure from what we've seen in Washington over the last few years. As I've watched him campaign across in New Hampshire, I've been struck by his commitment to bringing about fundamental change and bringing people together to make progress again. He's exactly what we need in our next President."
