Clinton Discusses Stem Cell Research At Dartmouth

Upper Valley Conversation on Stem Cell Research:
Hundreds eagerly took their seats in Dartmouth College's Alumni Hall this Friday, while still more gathered in the courtyard outside to listen to the conversation with Hillary Clinton about stem cell research in Hanover. The senator was joined on stage by two New Hampshire families with a profound personal stake in the advancement of stem cell research, as well as by Dr. Jeffery Cohn of Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. Senator Clinton voiced her commitment to moving stem cell research forward, which garnered loud applause from the rapt audience. The question and answer session that followed was charged with emotion, as people offered their own stories and expressed hope that Clinton's commitment to the advancement of scientific research would come to be the norm in our country. To warm applause, Clinton promised to return to Hanover to continue her Conversation with Granite Staters.
