November 2008 is a ways off, but presidential candidates have already rolled out cool gear for their supporters.
"Rudy USA" golf balls, anyone? Ladies, how about a pink Barack Obama shirt? And while Hillary Clinton's website has no official store associated with it, hillarymart.com offers T-shirts with Clinton's face pasted on Rosie the Riveter's bicep-flexing body.
John McCain's logo, a single star above "McCain" on a black background, looks masculine and military. John Edwards's campaign chose a modern, online look; one bumper sticker says simply "e 2008." Edwards's site also boasts that all items are union-made and union-printed. Mike Huckabee stays grassroots - visitors to his site can download and print banners and pins.
Not all candidates have official online stores, but sites like cafepress.com offer people all sorts of interesting ways to show their support, including campaign thongs for even the most conservative politicians.
