McCain: I Don't Need On-The-Job Training

Perhaps in a swipe at Barack Obama and some of his GOP rivals, John McCain spend Saturday totting his experience. McCain told crowds that "My life has prepared me to lead this nation. I don't need any on-the-job training." McCain also fielded questions about Iraq, immigration and energy. The Arizona Senator also argued that the GOP lost in 2006 because the party drifted away from its core principle of fiscal disipline. McCain said, "The reason why Republicans stayed home and Republicans turned against us is that we let spending get out of control, and we spent money like drunken sailors, and we presided over the biggest increase in the size of the government since the Great Society, and it's got to stop."
