Senator John McCain surprised PFC David Younie, at McCain's Exeter town hall meeting. On leave from a tour in Iraq, PFC Younie was approached on stage by McCain, who then thanked PFC Younie for his service to the nation. The gesture resulted in extended applause at a town meeting lead by McCain. PFC Younie is a resident of Pembroke, New Hampshire and serves in the United States Army.
