Biden Stands Firm Against Primary Threats

Today, Joe Biden, joined other Democratic presidential candidates, in announcing that he will not be participating in the Michigan Democratic primary.

Biden for President Campaign Manager Luis Navarro released a statement that read "“Today’s decision reaffirms our pledge to respect the primary calendar as established by the DNC and makes it clear that we will not play into the politics of money and Republican machinations that only serve to interfere with the primary calendar."

Biden's New Hampshire chairman, Representative Jim Ryan, echoed those comments.

In an interview with "New Hampshire Presidential Watch," the Franklin State Representative said that the decision is "essentially consistent with where we've been since the primary began."

"Joe Biden was the first candidate to sign the four state pledge and will continue to honor that pledge," he added.
