McCain Names Independents Coalition

U.S. Senator John McCain's presidential campaign today launched the New Hampshire Independents for McCain coalition. The group will work to mobilize independent voters for John McCain and grow the campaign's strong grassroots organization in the Granite State.

"New Hampshire independents admire John McCain's character, judgment and long record of putting principle over politics," said David Lee, Co-Chair of New Hampshire Independents for McCain. "John McCain's lifetime of service and sacrifice gives him unmatched credibility on national security issues and the unique ability to restore trust in our nation's leadership. Only John McCain can unify our country to confront head-on the tough challenges we face both at home and abroad. These characteristics -- needed now more than ever before -- are what drew independents to John McCain in 2000 and will again push him to victory in 2008."
