Elizabeth Edwards To Speak at NHYDs Kennedy Reception

On October 26, Elizabeth Edwards will join the NH Young Democrats (NHYD) for their First Annual John and Robert F. Kennedy Awards Reception at the IBEW Hall in Concord. Elizabeth Edwards, an attorney, activist and wife of presidential candidate U.S. Sen. John Edwards, will give her thoughts on involving young people and advancing progressive values in 2008.

"We are honored that Elizabeth Edwards accepted our invitation to speak at our inaugural event," says Garth Corriveau, Treasurer of the NHYDs and co-chair of the event. "Elizabeth is an inspiration to many people, and I think it's great that our members will have the opportunity to meet her and have a conversation about what matters to young people in the Granite State."
