From The Edwards Campaign:
Today, Cate Edwards and Kate Michelman announced the formation of New Hampshire Women for Edwards during two days of Graniteroots campaigning. 433 New Hampshire women have joined the group and endorsed Senator John Edwards because of his bold policies to support women by providing universal health care, fighting poverty, and standing up for a woman's right to choose. The campaign also unveiled its New Hampshire Women for Edwards web page, which can be viewed at www.johnedwards.com/nh/women and will feature information about John Edwards' positions on issues that are important to women. On Saturday, November 10th at 2:30pm, the web site will feature a live webcast in which Cate and Kate will answer voter questions.
"John Edwards has been a life-long advocate for fair wages, universal health care and a woman's right to choose," said Maureen Raiche Manning, Founder and Past President of the New Hampshire Women's Bar Association and Former Chair of the New Hampshire Women's Lobby. "He has stood up for working women and that's why I'm standing with him."
