House Minority Leader Michael Whalley is planning to endorse Mitt Romney, sources tell New Hampshire Presidential Watch.
The Alton state representative is serving his eight term in the House.
Earlier this year the Republican leader was supporting George Pataki's presidential bid, before the former New York Governor decided not to run.

Knowing that Whalley previously supported Pataki clearly shows what kind of a "Republican" he is. This is an absolutely meaningless piece of news, as Mr. Whalley's constituency group here in his neck of the woods consistes of a few has-been GOP dinosaurs carried over from days past-- that will never be again. Mr. Whalley has helped lead Granite State Republicans into the abyss, from which it will take many years to escape!
